I absolutely love this song....Extremely different from the 'typical' kind of music that's brand Anupam Roy. And the fact that it echoes so many experiences and feelings that seem to have been taken out of a page from my diary.....huh...if only I could've...isn't it?

So here are the lyrics of the song 'Tistaan 2' that was penned by Anupam Roy in April 2005.It's part of Anupam Roy's first album Doorbine Chokh Raakhbo Na that released in 2012.

So this is being widely circulated today amongst the entire FB fan circle.....A Kolkata paper seems to have done an article on Celebs and their Holi fantasies (I mean who they would like to play the day of colour with), and here's what the music hearth throb of the joyful city had to say about his heart throb....

Yes all my lovely fellow Anupam Roy fans...I'm sure you've already heard the song by now and swayed and banged your head to it's beats! I have!!! But one thing I've really been struggling with is understanding all the lyrics and being able to sing along :-(  Guess some things need more practice, attention and time.

I paint quite a funny picture when I head out for my walks each night. With my headphones buried deep in music and my hair going all about in the cool late night breeze that flows in from the sea, I walk along the road, forgetting the cars and people around, swaying my head to the beats, trying and singing along to some of the lines - I can manage only about 2-3 lines (that's really bad Debo!!!!) - and for the rest, I keep swaying and losing myself in a different world and time altogether - a world that is just mine - have you guys felt that too????

I got to read the original Bengali version of a recent interview with Anupam Roy in the newspaper (?) Ebela (I happened to read it online). Since it was all in Bengali and isn't available outside Bengal (unless you're an e-reader of the paper), I figured it would be good to share it in a translated-to-English version just to let other non-Bengali fans and those who're not very proficient with the language enjoy the read too....I am reproducing the original interview here in a translated English version and have no ownership over it. Its not my work. Also, Im not a 100% correct in the language, so please do forgive me if I haven't been able to write it properly.
